And like humans, if a wild animal is injured he needs to be treated by a licensed medical person, not a well-intentioned accountant, plumber, or six year old child. Instead, bring your child to fundraisers, to sanctuaries, to demonstrations with trained education animals.

As a vegan, part of what I believe is that bringing animals onto this planet to use them as food or as pets isn't ethical. The concept of creating when you can adopt is the same with people and animals, yes, but desiring and creating an animal as a pet isn't exactly the same when you unpack it all.
