Seals can mimic humans, you've heard of Crows and Parrots mimicing human speech but Seals can to, one Harbor seal named Hoover was able to mimic his owners voice and could say stuff like "Get over here!" Deer, cattle, camel and goats are more closely related to dolphins and whales then they are with horses. . •

I think I'm going to start a contest for the most absurd/ironic/bizarre sentence to come out of the mouth of a human each week. Briefly: Zoning board in Buffalo unanimously approved plans for a slaughterhouse (as in, a place where chickens, goats, lambs and calves will be killed and chopped up).

Incidents include a hippo who died in transport from Denver and a Turkmenian markhor, a species of wild goat, hung itself at the zoo after becoming trapped by a rope. In November 2008, a virus killed a 15-month-old Asian elephant calf named Malti. In April 2009, unseasonably cold weather froze two whopping crane eggs.

The University of Puerto Rico, an "1862" LGU founded in 1900, operates a slaughter facility killing small ruminants -- typically goats and sheep, cattle being large ruminants. We humans, herbivores like ruminants, are fine with one stomach -- we don't eat the really tough stuff like grass. Let me know if you hear the show!

As you know, Cheri and Jim are in the early stages of setting up their sanctuary, after a long journey of conscience that began with them closing their dairy goat operation, then transitioning to a vegan way of life, and eventually, creating a loving, lifelong home for farmed animals in need.

I very much enjoyed the first section, which relates the history of the bird and its relationship with us, humans, from its discovery in 1851 up to the fateful Lake Mack fire and its aftermath in the 1980’s. Most of the chapters are in the first two sections; the future is a brief, open question.

Doesn't it just tell us to kill them all?" When Jesus died on the cross, He didn't just save us humans—He died for the animals, too. Lambs, goats, birds were sacrificed at home, at temples and on altars themselves. The animals took the place of humans. Sadly, this kind of reaction is not uncommon.
