This model was very popular in Germany in the 1970s and 1980s and it was commonly called “Ente“ (duck) due to its round hood. When researching the origin of this saying, I figured it pertained to snares that were used to catch thrushes until better times prevailed. Thushing means strangulation until death do us part.
