At a recent Queens County Bird Club meeting, hawk expert Josh Haas illustrated his presentation on migrating hawk identification with videos of hawk species on a split screen, so we could see the differences between, let’s say, a flying Red-tailed Hawk and a flying Broad-winged Hawk.
