My boyfriend's family has an in-ground pool in the backyard and it has basically become a pond after years of neglect. The ex boyfriend I mentioned is the one who did all the dirty work and wanted to kill the poor things, purely for fun. Awhile back, I noticed there were bullfrogs living in it.

There was no meaningful discussion about our inefficient use of resources (grain and water) in the feeding of animals to kill to feed people. And there is a family in rural England who charts their energy use and we see that food is the second highest use of energy for them (air travel takes up the most). But they dismiss food.
