If you eat meat you cannot logically find it morally or ethically repugnant to eat a particular meat (I’m setting cannibalism aside here.). Do they suffer any more or less in death? If sentience and suffering and "the mysterious unity of life" are really your concerns, you aren't going be eating any body. I'll set it aside here.

The theory that the mind finds inescapably well-formulated is often overwhelmed and overturned by human emotions. I think not. There's no way out.

A kingfisher with a somewhat deficient work ethic, I guess. You can learn yoga, Pilates and meditation , and after having meditated for nearly two decades I can say that, for instance, the " Meditation on Emotions " is a perfect introduction to meditation and is actually very much like what I do at least a couple of times a week. I sometimes experience despair thinking about all of the suffering.

I think part of the original work's problem was that it was too ambitious--not to mention expensive to produce--and everything suffered. After failing miserably at a long pamphlet in 2007, I decided to shorten it by 50% and focus on a different audience: people who use animals.
