Are the kids cooking monkey, cat, dog, alligator or turtle? The kids made tortillas from scratch and then went to a factory to see how professionals do it. Any other factories on the agenda? The site says food production factories are included , but I doubt that means those involving the slaughter of animals.).

Here are some tidbits: Keith believes humans need to embrace the consumption of animal products, including beef, or else face severe and chronic health problems. Some might argue that Keith has simply become an advocate of “happy meat”—local, grass-fed, sustainably produced, and humanely raised meat. But that would be unfair.

Their claim is that what has become the customary way to take sentient nonhumans from babyhood to untimely death is not humane. No factory farms, no large-scale operations where animals are crammed together under a roof, never to see the light of day. I wouldn't do it to a dog, and I shouldn't do it to a chicken/sheep/cow/pig.

I have always felt a sense of connection to animals since as far back as I can remember, and the current manner in which they are treated in factory farms disturbs me. I do not believe that the current factory farm system in place lives up to both of those standards.

I imagine that we agree in our rejection of slavery, eternal damnation, genocide, and uncritical patriotic self-abnegation; so we shall agree that Huck Finn , Jonathan Edwards , Heinrich Himmler , and the poet Horace would all have done well to bring certain of their principles under severe pressure from ordinary human sympathies.
