Of course, their own mother is not the only threat to Wreathed Hornbill individuals. Other threats arise from illegal logging, hunting for bushmeat, and other body parts (feathers, beak, etc.)

The Common Pochard is not just a scarce breeding bird, but the second most numerous wintering duck in Serbia and it will be a hard battle to protect it against the strong hunting lobby.

Anyone who is tempted to raise a crow or a raven needs to know that 1) it is illegal to do it without a license, and 2) if you don’t follow the protocol (ski masks and puppets, and NEVER raise one alone) followed by a large flight cage and live prey, you cannot release them – they will never make it in the wild.
