Birding Sweden on the Fly

Ottenby Nature Reserve is run by The Swedish Ornithological Society and visitors can observe researchers collecting data and birds being caught in the mist nest and funnel traps on site. Barnacle Geese and their downy-grey cygnets were everywhere, grazing alongside picnickers and sunbathers. How could Norway top this?

Birding around Kununurra

We returned to Lake Argyle before heading into town and the male Great Bowerbirds still had a bower in a very similar spot to last year with a similar collection of rocks and bones. They were collecting it and carrying it away for nesting under the culverts. Fairy Martin collecting mud. Bower at Lake Argyle.
