My wife is obsessed with otters. Somebody told me about Barn Hill Preserve of Delaware where you can pay to "swim with otters" and pet a kangaroo. So is this type of experience something I should consider or is this just a shady practice and we should stay away from it?

In the next year I visited the British Birdfair for the first time, which turned out to be the experience that changed my life. Other important breeding species include Black and White Stork , Lesser Spotted , White-tailed , and Booted Eagle. Next to them, Whiskered and Black Terns nest on floating leaves of White Water-lilies.

Finally, of the at least 20 species of mammals present here, the otter, the jackal, and the wildcat certainly deserve a mention. The best birding season here is the winter when waterbirds come to overwinter in those lagoons, followed by migratory seasons and, to a lesser extent, breeding season. Now, I am done.

Also, I somehow doubt that whether I am stuck at work or not really influences how everyone else experiences spring but this is my blog post so I can use whatever criteria I want to measure how well spring has gone. Spotting 57 species of birds in the couple of hours we put in to seeking out birds was never so ho-hum in my life. What the?
