Monterrey Meetings

Monterrey is a big industrial city, with industrious people. Amazingly, everyone showed up at dawn except for one person, who’d had a near-death experience with me on Colombia’s Sumapaz paramo, an acceptable excuse for a no-show. We finally reached Mesa de Oso , the table (mountain) of the bear. It was amazing.

The rain need not have fallen anywhere near Carnarvon, but the river supplies water to the horticultural industry and was more than welcome.
