We stayed at the Yellow Bay Biological Research Station, a cozy collection of buildings located, logically enough, on a slope overlooking a bay lined with yellow sandstone on the eastern shore of the lake. We also spotted Raven , Bald Eagle , Black-billed Magpie , and the inevitable Canada Goose.

I wonder what Americans would think if, in a Wikipedia entry, a Bald Eagle would be illustrated using a photo taken at an Albanian zoo. Most scientific research really just proves the obvious. Many nocturnal mammals and birds such as the Kiwi would likely wholeheartedly agree. But I am grumbling a little bit about it.
