A Climate Change Crash

10,000 Birds

Major extinction events that are geologically instantaneous have been followed by periods of time with reduction of species or unstable habitats that last for hundreds of thousands or millions of years. We might expect that as the earth warms, biomes or regionally defined habitats will move north, and with them, their plants and animals.
