Do not buy these books, unless you are collecting old bird books. There are two editions of the Kenefick book, the field guide.

A 2007 genetic review of pigeons and doves ( Pereira et al. 2007 ) found three major clades within the order Columbiformes, which are nicely laid out by John Boyd here. Specimens were collected in 1904, and the bird has not been recorded with certainty since. The painting above is by 17th-century Flemish artist Roelant Savery.

Albert Park is a large park with walking trails right around the lake and apart from when the cars are racing next month it is easily accessible. Black Swan A45 got her neck band 4th July 2007, is over 8 years old and is a paired bird. Black Swan J23.
