For example, my list of the Top 25 National Wildlife Refuges for birding includes an excellent location in Minnesota ( Minnesota Valley NWR ).

You may have birding from the window of your home, you may have been counting birds at a local wildlife refuge, you may have been counting birds on a feverish run from one end of a state to the next.
