Will the people who determinedly allow their cats to slaughter wild birds use it?

The rodents eat the bait, stagger out of the building looking for water, and are easy prey for whatever carnivore happens to be passing by, be it wildlife or someone’s pet. This means not only can they continue poisoning kids, pets, and wildlife for years while the case drags through court, but now they have a monopoly on the market.

Why choose enslavement, rape, domination and slaughter? Many people support this, particularly affluent types, who have become dog and cat people and now own them as "pets." Yes, it is hypocritical (speciesism), but who said that we either protect humans or animals? Where do people get that idea?

I shall endeavor to protect and take care of all living creatures. After two or three laying cycles when their egg production begins to wane, the layer hens are inhumanely loaded onto trucks and sent to slaughter, where they are processed into chicken soup and pet food.

How far do we go in protecting them? Cows, domestic sheep, chickens and many others would not survive if they were not raised for human consumption, protected from malnutrition, disease and predators. If we are not justified in eating mackerel ourselves, are we not also morally obligated to stop the slaughter brought on by the tuna?
