FWC officers arrived at a reptile facility and forcefully killed 29 reticulated pythons, 5 Burmese pythons, and 1 pregnant Boa constrictor. The FWC then proceeded to kill the total 34 pythons using a bolt gun. After killing Coffee's pythons, the FWC then committed another criminal act.

Baby turtles and crocodiles are born as miniature versions of adults. Sure, turtles and crocs are tiny and vulnerable and most of them get eaten by monitor lizards, seagulls, big fish, or other predators. Some birds do this a little. That is an oversimplification of what happens.

It seems they did well this year, with quite a few chicks being taught how to handle dragonflies, while the parents were suffering from molt. And I almost start liking the Red Turtle Dove. The species that prevented the month from being really boring was the Amur Paradise Flycatcher. Mellowing with age? Or early onset dementia?
