Kibale National Park, in the west of the Central African nation of Uganda, is home to a 13 primate species, from Common Chimpanzees to bush-babies.

Primates are exceptional among the mammals, living amphibians (which represent only a small part of the original amphibian family tree) are pretty noisy too. 66 million years ago, and one of those groups gave rise to the ducks and geese. One of the key features of birds, and I use the term “key” literally, is vocalization.

No human can divine what a mated pair of geese or eagles may feel for one another, but stories abound of birds,especially Canada Geese , who spurned all offers from members of the opposite sex for years after a mate was killed. Needless to say, this makes them quite pleasant to raise.
