I never researched the resort, imagining that it lacked the amenities my family wanted, but visiting for dinner allowed us to rent its grandeur without forking over the considerable room rates. The food was better than decent, which exceeds our experience of Panamanian cuisine at most other locations. Make sure you can do the same.
