The only bird-related activity I can think of is looking at bird photos I took in Singapore in 2015, and adding some irrelevant comments to them. Presumably, birds living in Singapore do not understand German. In Singapore, Common Redshanks mostly drink Tiger Beer. Somebody fire the photographer, please.

Singapore: Urban Bird of the Year. Singapore is a densely populated city-state which still manages to protect a number of species. So I was particularly pleased when one of the last birds I saw was a Spot-billed Duck, a local bird and lifer. A new duck! There’s an Indian Spot-billed Duck. How awesome.

Nice, Nice Birding in Narita

While planning a much-needed escape from the Western Hemisphere to Singapore, I had to explore the layover birding potential of Narita International Airport, one of two airports serving Tokyo. This terrific waterway, flanked with paths and studded with stepping stone bridges, is home to a lot of Eastern Spot-billed Ducks and Eurasian Teals.
