Out of the 46 listed dogs we started with Monday 2/5/24 11 received Rescue Holds 5 received Adoption Holds 7 received Foster Holds 18 are being given an extra day 5 were killed for kennel capacity ?The The shelter gained three kennels by killing; ? Today's list already has 49 sweet dogs on it and more could be added!

So my dog is 10. I ended up taking her to the vet thinking it was an anxiety issue. Within a few days of losing Sasha, our other dogs behavior got really bad out of nowhere. Well my dog decided to eat the fan cord today. I’m so worried that she’s gonna end up killing herself or somehow starting a fire.

The vet suggested hydrogen peroxide washes once it's been a few days but I don't like using that because it can kill some of the healthy cells as well, I've always been told not to put H.P. I feel bad for him. Does anyone know anything I can give him that will help?

And the morning before the Mkuze pack of Painted Wolves, or African Wild Dogs, had been very close to one of the park’s few Lions, as far as tracking collars had told. And the two species were not inclined to get on, by which I mean that Lions will kill other large predators including Painted Wolves. It was not a pretty sight.

One of those is vet bills, which of course aren't deductible, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't know the total. I'm doing my best in an imperfect world to respect the rights of other sentients, and I have heard vegans say that sanctuaries--and not pet ownership--will be the only way out of subjugation for cats and dogs.
