Note the short legs, stout body and white rump and tail I see Muntjac on virtually every birding (or dog-walking) outing, as these small Asian deer are now very numerous around my home in the Suffolk Brecks. He complained they were eating the grass he wanted for his horses. However, top of my wanted list is a European Lynx.

This behavior is not at all out of character for Tufted Titmice as is explained on All About Birds : They line this cup with soft materials such as hair, fur, wool, and cotton, sometimes plucking hairs directly from living mammals.

One problem many dog owners find a concern and nuisance is maintaining their dog’s fur. Fleas come in large quantities and can make your dog’s life a living hell. They spread and bite your dog, not only causing great irritation and itching, but can do great damage to their skin, which can be worsened by scratching.

I've always thought of horse-drawn carriages the way I think about greyhound racing or fur: Most people are against them, so why are they still around? Massachusetts is probably an exception, as voters banned racing while tracks were still in operation, so that's a message about how they feel about dog racing that turned into a ban.

They took dogs to Australia, chickens across the Pacific, rabbits to England, horses to the New World, and then brought potatoes back. It should surprise no one that someone brought horses, or goats, or chickens. Brush-tailed Possums were brought from Australia to help start a fur industry. But hedgehogs? Greenfinches?

After the benefits became more widely known, the practice spread to dogs, cats and other household pets. A massage would really hit the spot right about now, wouldn’t it?

Our animals range from a small pet rat to miniature horses. Our Great Dane team is actually larger in size than our miniature horse team…LOL). They were smiling and excited to see this big furry dog come to visit them. For many it was the first time they ever saw a real dog or even touched one. It was absolutely magical.
