Best Bird of the Weekend (Second of July 2017)

My family and I enjoyed the Corn Hill Festival this weekend, which is definitely one of Rochester’s better events. Either of the two was his Best Bird of the Weekend because when endangered species reproduce that is always the best!

Best Bird of the Year 2013

I was attending the 3rd Global Bird-watching Conference in Gujarat and suddenly surrounded not just be species that were completely new, but entire families of birds. I saw a great number of incredible birds there, almost too many to count, but the Sociable Lapwing is definitely a highlight among many memorable moments.
