Birding a flooded highway

All the tracks onto the station property were underwater and all of the Brahman Cattle have moved to the highest ground that they can find. In fact it is not just the cattle, but all of the creatures have moved into bushes and trees.

An ultimate freshwater predator that for 100 million years felt no need to evolve any further, the Nile crocodile is the largest African reptile by far. Cattle Egret 16. Anyway, since the only croc I had seen in Africa until then was the five foot chap in a pool by the nearby restaurant I desired to see one in its natural surroundings.
