I found my Guinea pig unresponsive this morning. I took him indoors to show to my dog and cat which had bonded with him. He was freezing cold, his limbs were stiff but not his body. His eyes were milky. He has no partner, he was somehow happier after his brother passed away.

but did experiment on mice and guinea pigs. Interesting that many of the grants this place gets specifically say they can't experiment on any domesticated animals (cats and dogs I guess.). There was a poster in the lunch room with four cute animals (a dog, cat, rabbit and something else.)

I got my first pets, mice and guinea pigs, when I was 8. I didn’t get my first dog until I was 20, but since then I have been making up for lost time. Today I own 40 outdoor dogs and two more who live indoors! Start with easier pets – Many people don’t want to start with the responsibility of a dog or cat.

All companion animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, rats, chinchillas, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, and lizards would be considered as pets. Pet sales would be banned altogether, except for the sale of pet fish. If it passes, San Francisco residents would have to go to a shelter or rescue group to adopt an animal.

If you own a dog, a retirement community with a dog park is a must. But the ones that do know how much it means to the dogs and their owners. Not only do the dog parks allow the dogs to exercise, they get the dogs’ owners out and about on their feet as well. In this way, you and your dogs make new friends.

Cats and dogs are the most popular pets, along with hamsters, rabbits and guinea pigs also being amongst the favourites. Although keeping goats does require a bit more work than keeping cats or hamsters, they will reward you with their intelligent personalities and social nature.
