Has anyone, as a child, ever hurt animals like pelting stray cats and dogs with stones? But now, I would give my life to protect them. It’s gotten to a point where it’s a constant buzz that keeps reminding me of my cruelties howsoever trivial they were. And once the deed is done you start repenting your vile act.
