… The ordinance would allow Minneapolis residents to establish cat “colonies” where abandoned and wild cats can be fed but also vaccinated, neutered and identified in an effort to humanely cut their population and control disease. Feeding bans don’t stop cats from “multiplying”; neutering does.

As a breed, pit bulls have a bad rap. However, they are more vulnerable to being forced into fighting than other breeds. Aside from the breed’s abuses, one finds that adopting out this breed is highly difficult. Yes, this breed is poorly represented in the media. Evaluate the Pit Bull before Doing Anything.

My human kept me in an enclosed porch because, let’s face it, I was crawling with fleas and pretty filthy. We dogs are wired by nature to be humans’ companions. It’s the result of thousands of years of breeding. After all, dogs have the longest history of co-habitation with humans of any animal. I was safe.

Post a picture on Susan Wilson’s Facebook page and explanation of how your dog (or turtle, or human, etc!) She goes to the door, rejects the notion of going out, turns toward her dinner; goes back to the door, because clearly this human is not listening. The work of shelters and breed rescue organizations is vital.
