It was a pleasure to make these observations at the same time I was reading The Bird Way: A New Look at How Birds Talk, Work, Play, Parent, and Think , Jennifer Ackerman’s new book about the diversity and complexity of bird behavior. I do have some minor criticisms, and these are what you may call procedural.

bunny doesn’t want to leave her cage/litter box

she’s playful when i place her on the couch, but whenever i place her anywhere on the floor she books it to her cage and stays there. I’ve tried everything i could find on the internet. for example - I laid an old blanket infront of her cage but she started to tear it apart and pee and poo on it.
