For the last several years, I have produced a small run of calendars for my fiends and family. Then the culling process begins. The best 12 images of the previous year. This process starts out with about 60 photos. First cut, second cut, third cut, and then, the final.

However – and I am not saying this out of misplaced national pride – there is one bird in the Netherlands that proves Jefferson wrong and Buffon right: the White-tailed Eagle (or Sea Eagle ). The rooms are floating in a pond and the pond provides a home for a Eurasian Beaver family. It’s the only Dutch eagle. It was awful.
