The general public is out and about, birds and animals are raising their young, and human/wildlife interaction is at its peak. I wish for a federal law prohibiting domestic and feral cats from roaming free outdoors. Monte in California agreed: “I’d like some time just to watch healthy wild families.”. Summer is high season.

As the name suggests, they rescue rabbits, but they also rescue other small animals like ferrets, and other small rodents. Our first rescue mission was at a business park in Redmond where we saved 650 feral rabbits from the ultimate fate of the arriving bulldozers. Rabbit Meadows is a rescue group out of Seattle.
