The Philadelphia Metro Wildlife Center in Norristown covers four Pennsylvania counties (including Philadelphia) and takes in over 3000 animals a year. Two families were split up and made homeless by the cutting of one tree. Luckily the man who felled the tree heard the nestlings and provided a wildlife rescue.

Kitten Rescue is a wonderful animal rescue organization! Founded in 1997, it has become one of the largest animal rescue groups in Los Angeles. Kitten Rescue volunteers place approximately 1,000 cats and kittens into new homes every year. They are non-profit, and they are totally volunteer run!

I was very excited when the email came through about Rescues and Runways! maurices , a shop that I often find great clothes in, has become involved in the cause of finding animals homes. Together with the ASPCA, their Rescues and Runways program hopes to find homes for pets, and raise money for shelters. Duluth, Minn.
