We have seen them on remote beaches hunting shorebirds and taking their eggs and they have been responsible for much of the egg loss in breeding Pied Oystercatchers along the Broome coast. Feral cat predation on Pied Oystercatcher eggs. They are incredibly cunning and not easily trapped.

There has to be something I can do to reduce all of the suffering of the animals we use as food, I thought. Who ever heard of a cupcake without eggs and butter in it? I recently watched Earthlings and cried the whole way through. Besides, when it comes to birthday parties it's not like my vegan kid would have anything to eat.
