I knew the military in general used animals for combat medical practice.hadn't thought of the Coast Guard though. Live anesthetized goats have been used in Coast Guard training to treat combat wounds, but the agency could not verify if the video involved its personnel. PETA leads the charge against the Coast Guard.

The wound was also very contaminated with dirt and debris. Thanks to his work, many people and animals have functioning limbs and can live productive lives. This wild animal knows he is not suppose to be in ‘our world’ and our mere presence is stressful, so as with all wildlife, we keep contact to a minimum.

For good measure, some animals in the near vicinity were also named after him, such as Raffles’s Malkoha. Of course, there should be a photo of a vulture here, not of a Crested Serpent-eagle. The quills of the “Saqu Ettair” Secretarybirds feed on small lizards, insects, rodents, birds eggs and, of course, snakes. They typically dispatch a snake by stomping on it with their heavily armored legs and feet, accurately directing their rear talons at the skull to effect a swift mortal wound to the head.
