Hopefully you haven’t drunk too much the night before as there will be plenty of bird watching from the ferry, picking up albatrosses and shearwaters like Scarlett’s Shearwater. Nor is the sight of the Greater Short-tailed Bat , which can still fly but instead chooses to scurry across the forest floor in the manner of a shrew.
