My cat- we adopted him through a local rescue after my MIL found him and his mama and siblings in a box on the side of the road. In turn, they refused to schedule the neuter appointment and dropped him off with us without explaining it. But tonight my husband caught him doing it and said he for sure was and that I’d been right before.

MEXICO CITY – Animal rights activists staged a protest against the sale of pets in Mexico City, urging residents to adopt dogs and other animals instead of buying them. Late on this story. I copied the full article from the Latin American Herald Tribune.

Owen County Friends of Animals (KY) is a non-profit organization that fosters and seeks adoptions for the dogs picked up by their local dog warden. Dogs they can not place in foster care or find adoptive homes for are euthanized after 14 days by county ordinance. One wound (the one on his front right leg) was to the bone.

Aside from the breed’s abuses, one finds that adopting out this breed is highly difficult. This is the ideal end for the dog, and not just because it will get to go home; due to the breed’s bad image in the media, adopting out a pit bull can be very difficult.
