But nope, the built it and then they laid an egg in it. I have tons of trees and could put it close but not sure if they would be able to find it and don't want them to abandon their egg. when I did I realized I was being watched by the bird. I assumed I had frightened them and they wouldn't return.

Help I accidentally scared off a bird!

I hope I didn’t scare the bird off or maybe harm it. I didn’t do anything I just got away from the nest as fast as possible but I don’t know if it will return.
