Then it’s a matter of doing a little research on the internet to find who rang the bird you saw, and then emailing the details of your sighting. I photographed the Black-tailed Godwit in my photograph ( above ) on 18 September 2020. In the summer of 2020 it was back at Brancaster Staithe again, with the first record on 23 July.
