National Audubon Society Birds of North America: A Guide Review

It does seem like the order is concurrent with the 61st Supplement, which came out in 2020, but Northwestern Crow is included as a full species. I am particularly happy to see that the bird communication section includes recent research on singing female birds. The grand total is 817 species! These are all informative and current.

Birds of Bolivia: Field Guide–A Book Review

The source of this ranking, BirdLife International, lists Bolivia as currently having 1,439 bird species, including 18 breeding endemics. Like most maps, colors are used to indicate seasonal status (breeding resident, Austral migrant/visitor, Boreal migrant, etc.). Distribution maps are also different from other field guides.
