The arrival of 48 monkeys on a flight from China this weekend has brought Air Canada under fire for shipping primates destined for research laboratories, but the airline says it is obliged by federal law to accept monkeys as cargo. Air Canada is one of a small number of airlines that continues to transport these primates, Kite said.

We managed to see both species of monkey, though – so we were ultimately well satiated. Crisscrossed by 24″ pipelines transporting oil from numerous offshore platforms, oil companies exercised the strongest presence here. Occasional fly-bys of pairs and trios of Red-bellied Macaws kept us on our toes.

In fact, we saw two species of monkey, our only sloths, lots of coatis, and my rarest ever mammal sighting—a Jaguarundi —right on site. TRANSPORTATION. You’ll get the best monkey sightings of your life along with certain birds like Snail Kites and Limpkin , which are Gatun Lake specialties. White-tipped Dove. Heard only.

Before we get to the birds, allow me to share some tips: Don’t be afraid of Hong Kong. And even though transportation is so easy and inexpensive, prepare to walk a lot. OK, this isn’t much of a list, but all wild monkey sightings deserve recognition! ). Monkey at a monastery. So don’t be afraid!
