.: One message is that there's nothing wrong with eating animals, and in fact it's fantastic and thrilling and a win-win-win (people-planet-profits) when you eat animals that were "produced" by Polyface Farms. The moral of the story is that it's all about the way we farm animals, not that we farm them that is what needs changing.

Let’s say you’re at a fast food restaurant and you have a few french fries left over and a gull is eagerly staring at you and the fries. We can find other ways to get him up close to birds, like visiting a local farm, getting him to responsible zoos, or just taking him out to places where other people feed birds.

Perhaps Spencer R would like to look into Eric Schlosser 's work, such as Fast Food Nation , and also the recent " Food Inc.," The second paragraph, frankly, is a bit confusing to me. I'm not sure what being a vegan has to do with exploiting poor people in third world countries. not to mention read more writing by actual vegans.

The lifestyle associated with the Sunday roast involves sacrifices that those brought up on fast food are unused to making—mealtimes, manners, dinner-table conversation and the art of cookery itself. If meat-eating should ever become confined to those who do not care about animal suffering then compassionate farming would cease.

It is mainly scrub and woodland in a dry area with a mosque and fast food restaurant in the central area. Do not expect a taxi driver to know the site as it is basically a turf farm with little or nothing to attract punters in from the outside. Pay AED10 to get through the control gate and turn right shortly after.

And could we just do a quick drive through at a fast food joint? We had to eat some wonderfully prepared Lebanese food including some outstanding hummus. Rather than continue on to our next birding spot Carlos decided that my complaining about being hungry again warranted a stop for lunch. Of course not!
