There's no remotely vegan or even vegetarian (though I'm not even sure what the latter would look like) message. .: One message is that there's nothing wrong with eating animals, and in fact it's fantastic and thrilling and a win-win-win (people-planet-profits) when you eat animals that were "produced" by Polyface Farms.

He was adopted by the Masson family and was apparently the most loving dog all who met him had ever had the pleasure of being licked by. Yes, there's a vegan message.

An Affront to the Idea of Family

I'm not one of those people who thinks family is composed of only humans or humans who are biologically related. The idea of family is currently being used by the dairy industry in a series of commercials with the tag line: "99% of dairy farms are family owned." Buying dairy products supports them.
