Hence, the mother and four children stayed for three months for the recovery and then were ready to seek home (as you may guess after such a touching story and fame received, it is impossible to imagine that these animals would remain homeless). Three of them are alive even today and one has died from cancer in the same 2008.

Beloved family pet Dalmatian, Pepper, is stolen, and after several weeks of searching is discovered to have been experimented on at a hospital and died on the table when researchers tried to implant her with an experimental cardiac pacemaker. Isn't it better for science, and more humane, to use just one animal? But not shocked enough.

They pointed out the puncture wounds, likely infected with bacteria that could quickly kill. There’s an imperative to get this message across to cat people who, like me, can be educated to value wild lives as much as we value the lives of our four-legged family members. Before leaving the safety of the car I heeded the park’s advice and checked for animal tracks belonging to any biting, gnawing, mauling, trampling, stabbing or disembowelling species. None were found.
