Recent publicity about these remarkable tribes has resulted in tourists wanting to experience this wild land and its attractions for themselves. Mago National Park certainly deserved more exploration and I wished we had time to investigate the well appointed campsites along the Mago River.

The confluence of these two elements gives rise to a unique experience with a distinctive aesthetic. Trees along rugged ridges are vantage points for several species, here a Black Vulture takes flight after spending some time with a pair of Orange-winged Parrots. The gradient is so steep that the cabins are essentially treehouses!
