They are much more independent and still behave similarly to wild cats they are still pets and rely on humans to survive. Horses have a good chance. The main strategy for horses is organisation. Horses live in groups. From the ones that have a good chance to survive. Would suprisngly rodents and small animals.

And I received confirmation of something I've known since 2004, when we adopted retired racing greyhound, Violet Rays: That there's sort of a critical period for dog-behavior acquisition, and if it's missed, the dog isn't likely to mature into the type of loving being whose behavior we've come to associate with "pet" dogs. All animals except the dog are called "it" (I did a little experiment to see what would happen). When referring to cats, dogs and horses of unknown sex, the children would randomly assign sex, with the conventionally "prettier" animals being called "she." Meanwhile, the lizard has a male name so you'd think he'd be called "he."

In Kangding, there is a rather opulent bird hide – two stories, solid construction, spacious, lots of glass, a separate paved parking lot, though mysteriously (and as far as I can tell from my experience of living in China for almost 20 years, not indicative of fundamentally different physical needs of Chinese people) missing a bathroom.
