Later, Harry Fuller, President of the Klamath Bird Observatory, led us to an open meadow where we saw a pair of Great Gray Owls hunting in a meadow. I had a couple of pretty good twitches this year too, birds like Willow Ptarmigan and Cassin’s Kingbird in New York and European Golden-Plover in New Jersey.
