Regardless of what may have been my motivation, all eagles are exceptionally amazing birds that will scarcely ever fail to impress lucky birders. So here they are, the German eagles… Osprey. So here they are, the German eagles… Osprey. White-tailed Eagle. Go Eagles!! Short-toed Snake Eagle.

The drongo perches above the flock, snatching insects that they disturb, and keeping an eye out for predators that might go unnoticed by its hunting flock-mates. The associated bird species seek out drongos, apparently relying upon them heavily for protection. It very effectively forms a small foraging group in this manner.

As the national bird of Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, the African Fish Eagle is usually very busy whenever it stays in these countries, giving speeches, opening shopping centers, etc. Reportedly, the Water Thick-knee sometimes locates its nest close to the nest of Nile crocodiles as this offers some protection.

The White-tailed Eagle is one of the easiest birds to observe in Belgrade, Serbia (almost guaranteed). And with a wingspan slightly bigger than a Bald Eagle, it is really no wonder that almost every local eBird list contains a sighting of one to several birds. There are about ten pairs around the city.
