Don’t assume your dog is tick-free just because you can’t readily see one. Ticks may be transferred to humans. You may not spend much time outdoors, but if your dog does, then you can get a tick, too. Above all, check your dog for ticks frequently. They can resemble freckles, moles or even specks of dirt.
