It is correct, of course, to think of extinction this way during the Holocene Extinction, which we are living through right now. What a horror!

This bird represented only the second documented record of this species in Florida. Red Junglefowl by Mike Bergin Clare Kines chose an egg as his Best Bird of the Year.
