Jeff Masson's new book didn't cause me to unravel, but I did learn a lot about our friends and coevolvers, Canis familiaris. This Masson book ( here are all of them) is for Benjy, who was supposed to be a service dog but who was, shall we say, less than enthusiastic about the career choice that was made for him.

She has a new book out (which I am reading right now) called One Good Dog. In One Good Dog , my imaginary pit bull, Chance, comes from a deeply disturbing situation and finds himself having to learn a new ‘trade,’ that of pet. Tags: books guest post. Much of the book deals with topics vegans have likely pondered, likely frequently. At least his research on pit bull-types of dogs demonstrates the injustice they face. . My frustration is evident in the comments I’ve carved across the pages that make it impossible for me to now donate the book to my local library. .

If Barb had been a different type of client, I might have said, “Surprise me,” but I had the uneasy feeling that Barb would manage to do just that. Instead, her companion of choice was a cloud-white teacup poodle named Fizzle.
