Herzog states, “The awkward fact is that most wanton animal cruelty is not perpetrated by inherently bad kids but by normal children who will eventually grow up to be good citizens” (34). . Much of the book deals with topics vegans have likely pondered, likely frequently. They are vegans, and he has the utmost respect for them.

She has a new book out (which I am reading right now) called One Good Dog. A feral kitten captured and neutered by a small non-profit, somewhat militant organization, was on display at our local Massachusetts Society Prevention of Cruelty Association branch, which often took these feral cats in the hope of finding homes for them.
